Cardiomyopathy

Cardiomyopathy is a disease that usually affects the heart muscles. The heart muscles are weakened, and the heart is unable to pump adequate amount of blood to the body parts. Cardiomyopathy affects can affect different age groups of people. It can lead to irregular heartbeat. The symptoms include tiredness, swelling in legs and abdomen, shortness of breath. Some types of cardiomyopathy inherited include Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Dilated cardiomyopathy and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
