Atrialfibrillation (AF), the most common sustained cardiacarrhythmia, is associated with increased rates of mortality. Inflammation has longbeen known to play a role in the pathogenesis of atrial fibrillation. Therapiesincluding anticoagulants, anti-arrhythmic medications, devices, andnon-pharmacologic procedures in the last 30 years have improved patients'functionality with the disease. It stays basic that further examination into atrial fibrillation thestudy of disease transmission, hereditary qualities, detection, and medicineskeeps on pushing forward quickly.
