The improvement of heartsurgery and cardiopulmonary sidestep procedures has lessened thedeath rates of these surgeries to generally low positions. For example, repairsof inborn heartdeformities are at present assessed to have 4-6% death rates.It is often used to treat complications of ischemicheart diseases like coronary artery bypass grafting, to correct congenitalheart disease; or to treat valvular heart disease from variouscauses, including endocarditis,rheumatic heart disease, and atherosclerosis. There will be expandeddiscussions regarding the new advanced technologies in cardiac surgery and transplantationprocesses. This session focuses to provide a platform for researchers,practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations,trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutionsadopted in the fields of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.
